OPTOS

The Optos California uses ultra-widefield imaging technology to take a detailed digital photograph of your retina (the light-sensitive tissue at the back of your eye). Unlike traditional retinal photography, which captures only a small portion of the retina at a time, this device can capture up to 200 degrees of your retina in a single image — that’s about 82% of the retina in one scan.

OCT

Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) — is an“optical ultrasound” that captures incredibly detailed, layered images of the retina. Unlike a regular photo, OCT shows a cross-sectional view, allowing us to see each layer of the retina and measure tissue thickness.

This is especially valuable because many eye diseases begin with subtle changes that aren’t visible in a standard exam or photograph such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic eye changes.

MEIBOGRAPHY

Meibography is a specialized imaging technique that takes a picture of your meibomian glands — tiny oil-producing glands along the inside edge of your eyelids that are essential for healthy tears and comfortable eyes.

When these glands become blocked, shorten, or drop out, it can cause symptoms of dry eyes. Imaging these glands early allows us to diagnose and manage meibomian gland dysfunction (MGD) much more effectively.

iCARE PRESSURE - NO PUFF

The iCare tonometer is a modern device used to measure your eye pressure (intraocular pressure) — an important part of screening for and monitoring glaucoma. What makes the iCare unique is that it measures eye pressure WITHOUT an air puff.

VIRTUAL VISUAL FIELD

The Retinalogik Virtual Visual Field system is an advanced, headset-based test used to measure your peripheral (side) vision. It helps your optometrist detect and monitor conditions like glaucoma, neurological disorders, and other diseases that affect your visual field.

Unlike traditional visual field machines, this system uses virtual reality (VR) technology to make the experience more comfortable and efficient.
